Appalling customer service. They are refusing to pay for return postage as product was not as described. Be aware that ‘lightening effect’ strobe just means fast continuous flashing, which is nothing like normal random lightening. Trading Standards being advised to investigate for misleading customers.

Hi Kevin, we apologise, unfortunately for unwanted returns, we do require you to send back the items to us in 'as good as new' and any associated cost does fall upon the consumer. With all due respect, the strobe light that you purchased is most definitely capable of producing a lightning effect, but we understand that there can be different variations as to what a customer could expect and may deem acceptable for such an effect. We're sorry you found this to not fit your specifications, however, our team would be happy to suggest alternatives that may work better for what you are trying to achieve.

Parcel 3 delayed and when opened speaker was smashed and broken then resent and delayed again by yodel came a day late and lost a gig not Happy

Laser light broke after unplugging it on first use. Smoke machine didn’t come with any liquid. Laser light also didn’t sync to the beat of the music. Strobe light works fine but the others do not.

I paid 5 pounds for next day delivery but the item was delivered 3 days later, if you do not mind wasting your money and time do buy at ElectroMarket, me and my family will never buy there again.

Unfortunately, you placed your order at 8.34pm which was past the cut-off time for our team. Unfortunately, with deliveries outside of the United Kingdom, there can occasionally be fees that are required to be paid which are at the moment, separate from us. In all instances, we ensure our shipping costs are paid for, but additional costs beyond that are not always applicable on our end. Best regards

I placed an order for an item on Sat 19 Dec, which according to the website it was “in stock” and could be delivered on a next working basis,- great to see, given that it was a Christmas present. On the afternoon of Monday 21 December, I noticed that I hadn’t received a tracking email only an invoice and a receipt of payment, so I decided to give them a quick call, only to be told that they had actually sold out and that they would need to refund me!!! From how I understood it, the item was ordered online by a number of people at the same time and the stock levels was not updating to reflect the number of sales. I was quite annoyed to hear this, firstly it made me wonder at what point would I have been advised of this had I not made the call, secondly here we are, only 4 days before Christmas, and not only do I not have the item, but I also don’t have the money to buy it “again”elsewhere, so I have to wait for the refund which I’m told could take up to 5 working days!!!!

We apologise that this issue occurred. This is exceptionally rare and should technically not occur at all, unless an order of the same item is to be placed at the exact and very time as of another individual. We're glad we could resolve this for you in time, but apologises that it cut it short to the big day.

Order with them via Amazon, they use Yodel, parcel never delivered but claimed singed for looks like they never even tried or just kept it, no help after week from other company. Avoid if it goes wrong you will be left out of pocket.

Awful experience. Ordered a speaker, which only lasted 6 months before wouldn't turn on. They sent a replacement (after having to pay £20 return charge as ver 60 days). Got a second speaker - not the same as the first model was 'out of stock' even though was still listed on the website. This one lasted 1 week!!! This one was stick at the bottom, so clearly wasn't new. They again sent a replacement (again a different model). This one lasted 4 months. This time was overheating and not charging. The battery was also bulging. Returned again.

Firstly Rob has been very helpful, however we ordered 2 x speakers and an amp for a graduation present for my son, and for his graduation party this Saturday. The set arrived and after setting it up according to the instructions the amp after a short while caught fire. My son explained how he set it up to Rob, Rob agreed it was appropriate and a new amp was ordered. On receipt my husband helped set the system up (my husband used to set up amps and speakers for a living) the same thing happened, the amp actually caught light again after working fine for a minute or so. My sons party is this Saturday, we now have no system to celebrate his degree success and we would not like a replacement we just now want a refund which legally we are entitled to. The system is unsafe and we do not want it. You are charging us £20 for collection. PLEASE can we get this resolved so I can buy my son a replacement system for his party tomorrow! Thank you

I paid £10 for Saturday delivery as I work during the week. The parcel arrived on Friday, so I had to get the delivery company to take it to my local Homebase. This meant I had to pay for a taxi so that I could pick it up after work. I rang Electro Market's customer service line to complain about this, but there was no answer. I left them a voicemail explaining the situation and asking them to call me back, but they didn't bother to return my call. Very shoddy company with atrocious customer service. One to avoid.

Just back home after doing a gig using SKYTEC 1600 speakers 2nd time using them and they packed in at 10pm 2nd night ruined already returned 1 speaker 2 weeks ago because that packed in aswell extremely disappointed and angry been djing for 30 years worst speakers ave ever had they will be getting returned and I want a full refund very poor quality speakers
